"Humanitarian" organizations contributed fundamentally in ethnic cleansing in Libya
Amnesty International from the very beginning began to warm up the situation in Libya in the year 2011, and soon they accused the Libyan government of committing massacres and atrocities against its own people.
Amnesty International has accused the Libyan authorities of recklessly shooting at anti-government protesters after the organization learned that at least 46 people had been shot dead by security forces in the last 72 hours.
Sources at al-Jala hospital in Benghazi today told Amnesty International that patients' most common injuries were bullet wounds to the head, chest and neck. (1)
And they (Amnesty) go on:
"This alarming rise in the death toll, and the reported nature of the victims' injuries, strongly suggests that security forces are permitted use lethal force against unarmed protesters calling for political change," said Malcolm Smart, Amnesty International's director for the Middle East and North Africa.
"The Libyan authorities must immediately, rein in their security forces. Those responsible for unlawful killings and excessive force – both the direct perpetrators and those who gave the orders – must be identified and brought to justice."
Sources at al-Jala hospital have reported 28 fatalities from yesterday’s protests in Benghazi with more than 110 people injured, and at least three further deaths in today’s protests.
At least 15 people are reported to have been killed yesterday during "Day of Rage" protests in the city of Al Bayda, 100 km east of Benghazi. (1)
Amnesty often speaks of sources, witnesses, but usually do not provide any evidence. He accused the security forces of serious crimes without the slightest evidence, but this was no problem for precisely the misinformation and propaganda machine began operating. The corporate media massively disseminated the "information" of Amnesty International.
Human rights organizations such as Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International are acting as spokesman for what is happening in the country under a dictatorship for 42 years. HRW manages the only figure with a certain degree of officiality: 233 killed and a thousand injured. But the figure could be higher. Sources at a hospital in Benghazi have assured Reuters that only in the health center more than 300 deaths and FIDH has said the death toll between 300 and 400. (2)
What was true about it? Are the security forces killing protesters with lethal force? The facts say things were very different from that disclosed by Amnesty and others like it, such as Human Rights Watch and FIDH:
The Russian army with satellite detection also confirmed that these incidents, widely reported by the media in Western Europe and the U.S along with catarí Al Jazeera television (in the hands of Qatar dictators who were very interested in the fall of Gaddafi and now in Assad in Syria), had not happened (3)
But not only was the Russian army who had evidences that such events did not occur, but also was ratified, the absence of any proof, by the members of the U.S. Administration. Defense Secretary Robert Gates had to admit:
We’ve seen the press reports, but we have no confirmation of that. (4)
The Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen confirmed:
That’s correct. We’ve seen no confirmation whatsoever. (4)
Eyewitnesses also denied this information. (3) But invented rumors with not good intentions were enough to spread this web of lies that humanitarian organizations and the media set in motion. And people believed it, demonstrating the degree of vulnerability and lack of information of western people. On other sources with similar interests to Amnesty we have: Human Rights Watch, I recommend this reports (in Spanish): Human Rights Watch: when human rights are used for other purposes ( Human Rights Watch: cuando los derechos humanos son utilizados con otros fines.) On the International Human Rights Federation (FIDH) funded by corporations:fidha, color revolution. About Reuters and its counterfeits with media: fidha, color revolution.
The reality, as usual, was very different from painted by these organizations and media.
The reality now appears that the "protesters" are actually heavily armed insurgents who obliterated entire sections of steel-reinforced concrete walls of a Benghazi army base, then seized heavy artillery and armored vehicles before shoring up armed rebels in nearby towns and cities. (5)
The situation in the protests of Libya was very similar to what would happen in Syria. Areas of presence of Islamic extremists who had long experience in jihad: from Afghanistan and then in Bosnia and Iraq. See this report on what happened in Syria (Spanish): The riots in Syria ( Las revueltas en Siria).
The revolts in Libya and Syria were carried out from its origin by Islamic extremists, who were supported by Western powers to overthrow two governments they were not very eager.
The New York Times reported that weapons were coming in across the Egyptian border, while US and UK government mouthpieces called for providing additional arms and training for the rebels. The New York Times' latest piece, "Libyan Rebels Said to Debate Seeking U.N. Airstrikes" features images of insurgents receiving military training, further suggesting the unrest is the result of a yet another NFSL military operation rather than a "spontaneous" protest turned violent. (5)
Here you see the role of the West and also the interest in removing Mubarak, which in the past had opposed an invasion of Libya, to put the Muslim Brotherhood, which later collaborated not only in attacking Libya but also Syria. (5), (6) Moreover showing the true nature of the revolts in Libya and Syria, that were not peaceful, nor from its origin, and its real actors and promoters.
Interestingly enough, the New York Times piece also depicts the UN enforced no-fly zone as now being an opportunity to offensively cripple Qaddafi's forces and dislodge him from power. Knowing now that the "atrocities" Qaddafi supposedly committed never happened and that the US has been intentionally trumping up war propaganda to ensure yet another NFSL uprising didn't fail, we can assume that offensive intervention was the globalists' plan from the beginning. (5)
The real aims and intentions of the revolts in Libya and in the "Arab Spring" were clear from the beginning to anyone with minimal knowledge of world politics and economics, but not for the majority of the Western population, who lives far from the events and facts, thanks to the work of corporate media disinformation. Corporate and media that profit from these attacks and looting of the countries that do not follow Western corporations orders.
The National Front for the Liberation of Libya had never sought the liberation of this country, on the contrary, sought the recolonization of Libya, and has worked years on it.
... the National Front for the Salvation of Libya (FNSL), whose base was in Chad, organized and trained by the U.S. intelligence services, England and Israel and funded by the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, among others. This group tried to kill Gaddafi in 1984 and wanted to carry out an invasion of Libya which opposed Mubarak, the Egyptian president, in 1985. The FNSL was part of the National Conference for the Libyan Opposition held in London in 2005 and held its national congress in 2007 in U.S. (6)
Despite all this, even though the evidence was clear, Amnesty International went his own way, to discredit and to make hate western populations the Libyan government through false accusations.
Amnesty International today called on Libyan leader Mu’ammar al-Gaddafi to immediately rein in his security forces amid reports of machine guns and other weapons being used against protestors and a spiralling death toll in Benghazi, Misratah and other cities.
“It looks like Libya’s leader may have ordered his forces to put down the protests virtually at any cost, and that cost is being paid in the lives of Libyans.”
On Saturday, security forces are reported to have opened fire with live ammunition on thousands of mourners who gathered outside a Revolutionary Guards building on their way back from the cemetery and chanted anti-government slogans and denounced the Guards as “killers”, demanding that they leave Benghazi. Twenty people are reported to have been killed. Many others who were injured were evacuated to al-Jala hospital and other Benghazi hospitals. (7)
Once again the "information" of Amnesty without evidences, "reports" are invented and are not testable, they were not based on any proof. This delusion has the purpose to create outrage in people from Europe and the United States in order to create the much desired justification of Western economic power for foreign military attack against Libya and overthrow the government of The Jamahiriya. Thus, outside attackers would seize Libya's resources and its rich and healthy bank, eliminating a potential competitor who sought to create a single currency and its own economic market in Africa.
Amnesty has already begun his campaign and did not stop, they went on, asking the arms embargo on the Libyan government, but they didn´t ask it for the "rebels" (Islamic extremists), as we have seen, not only received weapons, but were trained and funded by U.S. and European governments, together with catarí and Saudi dictatorships.
Amnesty International has today called on the UN Security Council and the Arab League to launch an immediate mission to Libya to investigate events that have left hundreds of protesters dead.
"Colonel al-Gaddafi and his government appear to be prepared to kill as many people as it takes to stay in power. The international community needs to act now to put a stop to this.” said Salil Shetty, Amnesty International’s Secretary-General. (8)
This is a clear interference in order to weaken the government and the Libyan army so he could not stop the jihad that was raging in Libya. Amnesty took sides clear on one side, and not just who was respecting human rights. Later they would do the same in Syria. (9)
Amnesty had the collaboration of commissioners for "human rights" in United Nations, then they would enable the brutal NATO military attack against Libya with thousands of dead, mostly civilians. (11)
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay yesterday said that the Libyan authorities’ actions against protesters may amount to crimes against humanity.
“The international community must immediately make it clear to all those in the Libyan government, military and security apparatus that they and those carrying out their orders will be held to account for crimes under international law, such as those now being reported,” said Salil Shetty. (8)
To account for crimes under international law for the legitimate Libyan government and its army, though there was nothing showing them as the perpetrators of crimes against humanity, but they (AI) didn´t asked the same for NATO or their jihadists foot soldiers, although in this case the were conclusive evidences, see these links: M.D. Nazemroaya. A double standard very, very striking.
Amnesty in his characteristic bias and arrogance, due to their relationship and dependence on economic corporations and the U.S. government, the British and the European Commission (12), put demands on the international community to act in Libya, not just with words. Also attacked an independent organization that it was not controlled, the African Union, which sensibly opposed any military intervention and called for dialogue.
The organization [Amnesty] said the response of the UN Security Council fell shamefully below what was needed to stop the spiralling violence in Libya, and called for concrete action, including an immediate arms embargo and assets freeze.
The UN Security Council yesterday issued a statement calling for an end to the violence and urging Libya to act with restraint and respect human rights, but took no substantive measures.
The organization also criticized the African Union, which has not convened its Peace and Security Council to address the human rights crisis in Libya. (13)
AI also called for the suspension of Libya as membership of UN Human Rights Council. But not only were responsible of these harsh and unjustified accusations, but Amnesty would contribute directly to a real case of genocide and massacres of black Libyans.
Amnesty International also criticised the response of the African Union to the unfolding crisis, which has seen hundreds killed and persistent reports of mercenaries being brought in from African countries by the Libyan leader to violently suppress the protests against him. (13)
G.Garrigos, president of Amnesty International France, also said to France 24 on February 22, 2011:
...we have information that the troops sent by Gaddafi against the protesters may have been foreign mercenaries, in order to accelerate the process of repression. (14)
Amnesty gave support to this unfounded campaign that resulted in the persecution, mutilation and annihilation of black people in Benghazi and in the rest of Libya. (15), (16) also, as a result of this, were attacked with tremendous cruelty foreign workers who were in Libya.
We had 70-80 people from Chad working for our company. They were cut dead with pruning shears and axes, attackers saying: ‘You are providing troops for Gaddafi.’ The Sudanese were also massacred. We saw it for ourselves.(17)
After, came Amnesty corrections regarding mercenaries who came from other parts of Africa, when people around the world began to discover such falsehood and Amnesty was in a very bad situation with charges of supporting racism and xenophobia. However, the annihilation and killing of black people it was not possible to stop, because the "rebels" had won the desired foreign military support, that Ai helped to do it, and the atrocities continued against Libyans, black or not, against foreigners and women.
However, Amnesty continued his role, in partnership with UN commissioners, threatening to bring to the International Criminal Court to Gaddafi or his followers. This was not raised against the Islamic fundamentalists, most of them from the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, linked to Al Qaeda and mujahideen consisted of veterans of the war in Afghanistan, (6), nor was carried out against NATO. And despite all these, NATO and yihadists, committed the crimes against humanity, the Libyan government was defending himself from an attack by extremists financed, armed and trained from the outside, as well as subjected to a cruel and brutal bombing of a coalition of Western countries lust for destruction and looting.
Amnesty International has today called on the UN Security Council to refer the situation in Libya to the International Criminal Court and impose an immediate arms embargo, ahead of a planned session in New York on 25 February.
"Colonel al-Gaddafi and his chain of command have to understand they will answer for their actions," said Salil Shetty, Amnesty International's Secretary-General. "They need to see that investigation and prosecution are a reality they will face."
"This should act as a wake-up call to those issuing the orders and those who carry them out: your crimes will not go unpunished." (18)
This notorious and serious bias showed the real character of organizations like Amnesty International, also of much of United Nations and Criminal Courts designed only to punish the enemies of Western economic power.
We are faced with a textbook case of a very real crime against humanity, yet the International Criminal Court is utterly silent, as are the voices in the UN that were vigorously clamoring to authorize war against Libya back in March of 2011. Silent also are the fraudulent George Soros Open Society-funded Human Rights Watch andAmnesty International (page 10) organizations. The ICC and the supporting myriad of contrived rights advocates once again demonstrates they are illegitimate institutions contrived solely to serve Wall Street and London's interests in a clearly one-sided manner. It is no wonder why the African Union has wholly rejected the International Criminal Court's decisions made against Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi or why nations across the world exhibit increasing hostility toward "independent" NGOs like Human Rights Watch, Freedom House, and Amnesty International. Nations should not be expected to permit such organizations to operate within their borders when in reality their goal is not defending human rights but finding a predicate for foreign military intervention on behalf of the corporate-financier interests that fund them.(19)
This text exposed by Tony Cartalucci clearly reflects the reality of these humanitarian organizations and their function, not on behalf of human rights and peace, but of the economic profit of their patrons, promoters and protectors.
On March 17, 2011 finally they got what pursued with so much pressure, UN resolution for military intervention in Libya, based on the excuse of "responsibility to protect". The results we have already described above with the thousands of deaths caused by NATO. Then Amnesty did not condemn the attacks that caused the alarming number of deaths that were happening, now reported with actual and accurate reports, in addition to the destruction that occurred in the country. AI simply behaves in a way that qualifies the organization, to ask that "we must protect civilians during military action." (20) Civilians can not be protected of such military attack, what it should be avoided is the military action. Military brutality clearly sought to overthrow the government and convert back to Libya in a colony, no matter the cost in human lives and destruction and backwardness.
"It is critical that all Libyan and any other forces that may become involved in the conflict respect fully the laws of war." (20)
If anything characterizes a war, especially a war of aggression, as carried out against the African country, is the absence of codes, of morals and laws. The results speak for themselves.
Amnesty didn´t ask to take NATO, the Western leaders or their protected before an International Criminal Court, although the evidence was overwhelming. However, they would do with Gaddafi, but as happened with Milosevic, there was no evidence of alleged crimes, and they were nevertheless sentenced guilty before trial.
Colonel M'uammar al-Gaddafi and other senior Libyan government figures must be arrested and handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC) to face trial for alleged serious human rights crimes, Amnesty International said today.
"Justice must be delivered to the victims of serious human rights abuses and violations of international humanitarian law committed in Libya during and following the brutal repression of pro-reform protests earlier this year," said Michael Bochenek, director of law and policy at Amnesty International. "Al-Gaddafi and others who are accused of orchestrating this bloody crackdown must be held to account." (21)
The particular bias and partiality of Amnesty in the different treatment of contenders, as well as if someone had to be accused of crimes were the aggressors. Amnesty was, once again, too cheeky.
"A failure to arrest and prosecute the accused men would send a disturbing message that such crimes can continue to be committed with impunity," said Bochenek. "No one should be allowed to evade international justice." (21)
The scandalous message is the impunity with which NATO has operated and the Al Qaeda members and related, that have ravaged Libya and then continued in Syria.
It seems that Amnesty can allow someone to circumvent the action of international justice. They never have convicted of crimes against humanity, war crimes or even bring before a court to NATO, the army of the United States or its allies, and no one but them has committed more of these crimes. I recommend a brief review of this action by the United States in the world to the work I published in 2012: United States and respect for other cultures and countries. (22).
When NATO makes its many outrages, no matter how horrible crimes they are and no matter if they do in Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, Libya and elsewhere, they are no crimes against humanity, no war crimes, according to Amnesty International.
NATO urged to investigate civilian deaths during Libya air strikes. (23)
Sounds comical if it were not so tragic. The criminal should investigate their crimes, and, of course, not to be tried.
What kind of justice is this?
Also sought justification for these atrocities, justifying the unjustifiable.
"NATO must take all feasible precautions to avoid civilian casualties, even in those cases where al-Gaddafi forces are using civilian facilities for military purposes," said Hassiba Hadj Sahraoui of Amnesty International. (23)
Taking into account that Gaddafi himself had given his civilian population weapons to defend themselves from external aggression, which talks about what kind of "dictator" was. (24) The support of the majority population was for him. (25 ) No dictator gives guns to the people, as he would be overthrown immediately. However, the Libyans fought until the end for their nation.
Amnesty International conducted in Libya the same performance as in any war of aggression that they have taken a very active part, not for human rights, but defending the interests of their sponsors, in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Syria, etc.. See this link on their work in Yugoslavia: The war against Yugoslavia: another AI blur ( La guerra contra Yugoslavia: otro borrón más de Amnistía Internacional).
The tragic result of all this you know, a country devastated and destroyed, thousands of casualties, more than a million displaced, (26) in the country that had the highest standard of living in Africa, and lived in a period of time with a promising future of peace and progress. But no tired with Libya these destroyers would follow with Syria.
